At St John Fisher we aspire for all of our pupils to leave being mathematically confident and numerically literate with the skills to support their future ambitions.
In the Mathematics department we aim to nurture the development of a logical mindset combined with mathematical fluency. Thus, empowering our learners with the confidence to approach real life situations without hesitation. This is achieved through a well sequenced curriculum with built-in knowledge checks to allow staff and pupils to monitor and direct future learning appropriately.
