Breakfast
We know the importance of starting the day well.
A breakfast service is available for early arrivals, offering affordable and nutritious options such as porridge, fruit, toast, and hot breakfast items.
Students can join us in the canteen between 8:00-8:30am to enjoy a free breakfast and get their day off to a positive start. Bagels, cereal and juice are on offer daily.
Break
Fuel for the Day – Morning Break at Our School
Our Morning Break Provision gives students the chance to recharge, refocus, and enjoy a healthy snack between lessons. We recognise that a mid-morning boost can help maintain concentration, energy levels, and overall wellbeing throughout the school day.
What’s Available?
During morning break, our catering team offers a selection of freshly prepared, affordable snacks, including:
- Freshly basked items (such as pastries on selected days)
- Fruit pots and yoghurt
- Hot snacks
- Sandwiches and light grab‑and‑go options
- Chilled drinks
- Water refill stations available throughout the school
All items are prepared onsite and meet School Food Standards.
Lunch
Nutritious, Fresh and Varied – Lunchtime at Our School
Our Lunch Provision is designed to provide every student with a balanced, enjoyable meal that supports their learning, wellbeing, and development. All food is freshly prepared onsite by our catering team, following the School Food Standards, and offering a wide range of hot and cold choices to suit every appetite.
A standard meal deal is £2.90, which includes a two-course meal - such as a hot meal or sandwich plus a dessert (e.g. biscuit).

Students eligible for Free School Meals can access the full lunch menu with complete discretion.
Sixth Form Lunchtime Offer
For older students, we also provide an enhanced selection in a café‑style setting, including:
- Hot meals tailored to Sixth Form preferences
- Barista‑style drinks
- Premium sandwiches, salads, and snacks
- Extended seating for study or social time
This supports independent study and creates a calm, comfortable environment.
A Healthy Dining Environment

Our dining areas are supervised, welcoming, and designed to help students enjoy their break from learning.
Students are encouraged to stay hydrated throughout the day. Fresh drinking water is available from our water machines, and students may refill their bottles before school, at break or at lunchtime.
Supporting Dietary Needs
Our catering team is trained to safely support students with:
- Allergies
- Intolerances
- Cultural or religious dietary requirements (Please be aware that we are not able to serve Halal options).
Parents are encouraged to contact the school if their child has specific needs.
