Dance at St John Fisher promotes self-expression and confidence in our students.  The Dance department plays an important part in the creative and physical education that is essential to the development and well-being of students. We are committed to ensuring that every student will develop their technical skills through different genres of dance. Broadening students' knowledge of practitioners and choreographers, they will have a thorough understanding about the impact of different performing styles.

Whether studying scripted classics, or delving into more contemporary devised work, the performing arts department at St John Fisher strives to improve the confidence, creative expression and understanding of the world around us for our students. Students who step foot into performing arts should expect an inclusive and supportive atmosphere which in turn nurtures their ability to entertain and perform. Students will consistently deepen their knowledge and experience a broad curriculum which will prepare them for a range of careers in the performing arts and wider working world.
